Jevents - 500 - View not found [name, type, prefix]: day, listevents,

When using JEvents, I get the error "500 - View not found [name, type, prefix]: day, listevents," when clicking on any day in the calendar. The site is using Joomla's built-in SEF URLs. When I turn this feature off off, it works properly.

In the Jevents Control Panel | Components tab, I get an error there as well:

Strict Standards: Declaration of JFormFieldJEVBoolean::setup() should be compatible with that of JFormField::setup() in /home/lesainte/public_html/administrator/components/com_jevents/fields/jevboolean.php on line 108

Solution

The solution is to enable SEF URLS in Jevents.

  1. Click Components | Jevents.
  2. Select the Configuration tab.
  3. Select the SEF/Performance Options tab.
  4. Enable Use New SEF URL System.
